2011 World Cup organizing committee finalized venues for India’s 29 matches. A total of 49 matches will be played in the three countries during the event.

As expected Eden Gardens will not host finals this time

The venue-based match distribution:

Mumbai         -    Final + 2 games
Mohali                -    Semi Final + 2 games
Ahmedabad        -    Quarter Final + 2 games
Delhi                   -    1 India game + 3 games
Chennai              -    1 India game + 3 games
Bangalore           -    1 India game + 3 games
Nagpur               -     1 India game + 3 games
Kolkata              -    1 India game + 3 games

Groups for the 2011 World Cup

Group A – Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Canada, Kenya.

Group B – India, South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Ireland, Netherlands.
