ABOUT THE LIBRARY

Useful practice.
Clearly explained.

A practical starting point for people who help others play cricket.

What this library contains

Cricstars provides 24 original introductory practice activities, six skill guides, audience and setting guides, three sample sessions and a browser-based planner. The written instructions and diagrams are designed to be used together. Diagrams are illustrative, not measured plans.

How the content was prepared

This collection was prepared with AI-assisted drafting and original diagram production. It has not been presented as an accredited coaching course or independently certified by a governing body. No named coach review or field-testing results are claimed. A responsible coach or teacher should assess suitability before use.

How to choose a drill

Read the goal first. Check equipment, space and supervision, then start with the easier version if the player is unfamiliar with the activity. Age-group pages offer starting points, not fixed developmental standards. Judge readiness by confidence, comfort and control.

How progress is described

Success measures are simple observations such as clean gathers or accurate target attempts. They are not performance benchmarks or guarantees. Keep conditions consistent when comparing practice rounds and avoid ranking children by a single drill score.

Sources and updates

Official external resources support the general safety context, not the authorship or validation of each drill. The safety guide links to those resources. Recheck local rules before every season and whenever a governing body updates its requirements.

Privacy and saved plans

Saved drills and plans use browser local storage where available. They are not sent to a Cricstars account by this standalone package and do not sync between devices. Clearing browser data may remove them. Export a text plan if you need a portable copy. No names or personal information about players are needed.

Print and use

Print individual drill pages or session plans for training. Keep the safety instructions with the activity. Adapt distances and challenge to the group; the suggested timings include explanation and rest. There are no paid tools or external scripts required to use the package.
