How to use this tool
How are byes allocated?
Teams are placed by the entered seed order. Higher seeds receive the byes when the team count is not a power of two.
Does it update after a match?
This release provides the initial printable bracket. It does not accept results or maintain a live tournament database.
Competition formats and local playing conditions vary. Check your league rules before publishing fixtures, field plans or official results.

How to plan a cricket knockout bracket
A knockout tournament moves the winner of each match into the next round. It can be useful when organisers have limited match days. However, one defeat normally ends a team's chance of winning, so the format offers fewer matches than a league.
A six-team single-elimination event needs five matches to produce one champion. It can be arranged in an eight-place bracket with two byes. The teams receiving those byes move directly to the next round, subject to the seeding rules chosen by the organiser.
Decide how teams will be seeded before creating the bracket. Seed order may come from league results, a previous ranking or another published method. Explain the method to every team so that the draw is clear.
Before the competition begins, agree how tied or interrupted matches will be decided under the playing conditions. This tool creates a bracket for planning and printing; it does not maintain live results.
